For years the citizens of the United States have watched as NASA launched one space shuttle or another into space for various missions from exploration to experiments or repairs of different equipment that is already in orbit. Many times people ranging from children to adults have wished that they could be aboard and be a part of a space mission. While it isn’t sure just how easy you can make it into space with it, NASA has placed several of its shuttles up for sale ahead of their scheduled retirement.
The space shuttle Discovery, which has completed thirty-seven different missions has already been promised to the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum. Even if this one isn’t for sale anymore don’t lose heart if you was hoping to buy it because the shuttles Atlantis and Endeavour are still going to be going on the block for sale. Reduced from forty-two million dollars the new lower price of twenty-eight point two million dollars is much cheaper but still out of reach of many who doesn’t have a large bank account. If you have at least four hundred thousand you could buy the engines as they won’t really be needed if the shuttles are put up in a museum.
